Johnny Depp’s first wife was makeup artist Lori Anne Allison.
The pair married on December 20, 1983, in South Florida, when Depp was 20 and Lori was 25.
However, in 1985, Johnny and Lori divorced, citing irreconcilable differences.
Lori maintained her ex-husband’s name Depp. She released her own line of lip glosses called Serendeppity.
Johnny’s second wife was Amber Laura Heard, an American film and television actress.
The pair met while filming The Rum Diary and began dating.
Johnny and actress Amber tied the knot at their home in Los Angeles in February 2015.
But, on May 23, 2016, Heard filed for divorce and obtained a restraining order against Depp, alleging he had been verbally and physically abusive during their relationship. Depp denied the allegations.
Their divorce was finalized in January 2017.
In 2020, the High Court of Justice of England and Wales ruled that Depp had lost his libel case and that the majority of Heard’s allegations had been proven to a civil standard.
Depp also sued Heard for defamation in the US in 2019 after she wrote an op-ed discussing being a public victim of domestic violence; the trial began in Virginia on April 11, 2022.
