The mishap happened early Saturday morning, January 1, 2022, at around 4:20 a.m. near the crossing point of NC 268 and Rock Creek Road in Wilkes County, North Carolina.
As per the preliminary investigation, Shores was the sole occupant of a Toyota RAV4 traveling eastward on NC 268 when the vehicle left the street and struck a trench before rolling several times.
The specialists showed up at the location of the crash and observed Shores with serious perilous wounds and she was proclaimed expired at the scene.
