Disappeared: Who Killed Holly Cantrell?

After the remains were located, a homicide investigation into Holly Cantrell’s disappearance was to begin. Although they didn’t have many leads to work with, the Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, sheriff said they planned to make an arrest soon.

He continued, “We want to do everything we can to solve it and provide justice for Holly’s family.”

Although both Cody and Tommy had been cooperative and were thought to be individuals of interest at the time of Holly’s disappearance, there was no proof linking them to her abduction at that time.

The investigation is still ongoing, and no one has been charged in connection with Holly’s slaying.

The detectives began sifting through the hospital’s security camera footage. Holly was seen departing at around 11:56 AM, entering the parking lot, and getting into a green pickup truck that was also carrying another person.

At the moment, she was donning green scrubs for the hospital. According to a different account, she was later spotted in a nearby eatery at about 12:20 PM. After that, Holly vanished without a trace.

On February 25, 2017, a hunter discovered a purse close to Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma, around 12 miles from where Holly Cantrell was last seen.

This discovery provided the inquiry with a potential lead. Based on the identification they discovered inside the purse, the police eventually confirmed it to be hers.

However, aside from the purse itself, the authorities were unable to extract much fresh information from it. Before there were any further developments in the case, nearly a year had passed.
