In 2010, Jakub was commissioned by Theodor Heuss Academy to write the score for a foreign film. Dr. Jakub joined the Trillium Health surgical assistance team in 2014 after graduating from Credit Valley’s family medicine residency program.

Dr. Sawicki’s funeral occurred on July 22, 2022, at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church in Ontario, Canada. Similarly, he was laid to rest at Assumption Catholic Cemetry in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
According to a memorial notice published on July 21, Jakub developed a passion for pain medicine and later became the medical director of regional pain medicine clinics.
