Over the weekend, a five-year veteran of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Officer Aubrey Phillips died abruptly after a traffic check in Dublin.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Department is currently mourning the loss of a 36-year-old deputy.
Aubrey Phillips was working as a patrol officer in Dublin on Saturday. Phillips executed a traffic check at 1:46 a.m. and arrested the motorist.
Moreover, Phillips experienced “severe and intense medical issues” while driving in the patrol car, according to the investigators. Another officer saw Phillips and initiated a life-saving procedure, as per the officials.
Later, she was transported to the hospital in severe condition after emergency care services were summoned.

Phillips nabbed the motorist from the traffic stop between Dublin Boulevard and Myrtle Drive at 1:46 a.m. An aiding officer discovered Phillips was in serious trouble while sitting in her police car.
According to sheriff’s officials, the lady detained offered to assist Phillips from the backseat of the police cruiser, claiming to be a certified EMT. However, they did not go into details about the traffic stop and why the lady was detained.

Multiple reports claimed that Dublin police officer Aubrey Phillips suffered from an aneurysm (a bulge in a blood vessel caused by a weakness in the blood vessel wall), which is the main cause of her death.
After the event took place, Phillips was then transported from Pleasanton’s Stanford Valley Care Hospital to Walnut Creek’s John Muir Medical Center for life-saving treatment.
However, she was declared dead after a period. Officials sources claimed that Phillips was a registered organ donor.
