Who Was Businessman Bernard Cherfan? Victim Of Laval Restaurant Shooting

A 42-year-old man Bernard Cherfan, who is relative to organized crime, is the primary victim of the Laval Restaurant Shooting.

He once had companies that alleged to be active in the construction and real estate industry, advertising, and cellular devices. According to a source, with his activities, he offered several people encoded communications devices that could be helpful to defeat the surveillance of the authorities.

Special police officers are in fear after this crime and they are worried about the tensions within the underworld.

Bernard was having dinner at La Perle Vietnamienne restaurant, on Laurentides Blvd. in the Vimont district, when one or more suspects came into the building.

The victim is Bernard Cherfan, an entrepreneur who purportedly had a connection with members of organized crime, including Stefano Sollecito, considered until recently the leader of the Sicilian mafia clan in Montreal.

During the court case of hitman Frederick Silva, an investigator informed the court how the police questioned him about hiding with Bernard Cherfan.

Specialized investigators are worried that these recent events may be the reason for a rivalry between different organized crime factions in the greater Montreal area.

Bernard Cherfan was shot dead at the Laval Restaurant Shooting. 

If this case relates to organized crime, The Laval police will transfer responsibility for the investigation to the Sûreté du Québe.

As per the statement of Laval police spokesperson Genevieve Major, at around 7:25, Laval police got the call about the shooting. When they had reached the crime scene, they found the victim in critical condition. The victim has been taken to the hospital. The man later passed away in hospital, police explained.

It was not the first time that murderer followed Cherfan. But this time, the Killer accomplished his crime as he hit Bernard in the head with a bullet.
