Austin Derek Aldridge’s funeral has departed from Floyd’s Mortuary in the heart of Spartanburg for Moore’s Church at the Mill.
The procession proceeded on John B. White Sr. Blvd./Reidville Rd. after leaving E. St. John St. It makes a left turn onto Anderson Mill Road and enter the parking area for the Church at the Mill.

The ceremony was conducted by Pastor Bill Morris and the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office. Austin’s family humbly requests that this memorial ceremony be kept private and limited to immediate family, close friends, and law enforcement.

Austin Derek Aldridge, who was born in Greenville County on May 20, 1997, attended North Greenville University after graduating from Wren High School in 2016.
On April 8, 2019, he joined the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office after earning his law enforcement certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
On September 14, 2019, Austin wed his devoted bride, Jessica Link Aldridge. In February 2023, she will give birth to their first child.
Austin is survived by his wife, Jessica, and their unborn child, as well as his parents, Derek Alan Aldridge and Deborah Spearman Aldridge.
