Angela Jacobs passed away on Tuesday evening, July 19, after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Angela has previously fought the battle with cancer and has recovered from it, but her cancer returned this year which became fatal to her life.
She shared her diagnosis and how she got cancer free in 2020. During her first cancer battle in 2020, she underwent 56 treatments and five weeks of radiation.
Jacobs also underwent four surgeries, and during the treatment, she lost her hair, but she never let her hope of winning cancer falter away. She had beat cancer and went into remission for almost two years.
Her cancer again returned this year, and she went to the next fierce battle against the disease by undergoing chemotherapy and experimental treatments.

Angela Jacobs died during her second battle with breast cancer. She won her first battle against the disease in 2020 and resumed working as a reporter on WFTV, but her cancer returned this year.
Her mother is also a breast cancer survivor and recovered from it by undergoing surgery without chemotherapy or radiation. When she found a malignant tumor in her right breast, she thought she would go on a similar path as her mother.
But she had to get through both surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. Her death shocked many people, and the viewers who used to watch Channel 9 were sad to hear the news and were seen commenting on her post with RIP messages.
