Who voices quagmire

Seth MacFarlane voices four of the show’s main characters: Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin, and Glenn Quagmire. MacFarlane chose to voice these characters himself, believing it would be easier to portray the voices he had already envisioned than for someone else to attempt it.

The name Quagmire was chosen by a college acquaintance of MacFarlane’s. MacFarlane came up with Quagmire’s voice after listening to fast-talking radio jockeys from the 1950s era, describing the character as a “50s radio guy on coke.” The “giggity” phrase was inspired by Steve Marmel’s Jerry Lewis impression.
