Heather Elvis of Carolina Forest, South Carolina, went on a first date with a man on December 17, 2013, which ended when he dropped her off at her apartment the following day at 1:15 a.m.
Heather had tried to move on after a two-month relationship with Sidney Moorer, a repairman she met through her job at a local restaurant.
She called her roommate, Brianna Warrelmann, who was visiting her family, at 1:44 a.m. to let Brianna know how the date went. The discussion lasted about ten minutes.
Brianna had warned her not to return Moorer’s calls and to “not do anything rash and get some sleep.” Heather’s cell phone activity ended around 6 a.m. that day, and she hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Heather Elvis Missing And Death Case- Who Killed Her?
On February 21, police shut down South Carolina Highway 814 near the Moorer residence to carry out a search warrant. Tammy and Sidney Moorer were arrested at their home after an 11-hour search by law enforcement.
After an 11-day trial, the jury convicted Tammy of both charges after four hours of deliberation and was sentenced to 30 years in prison for each offense, to run concurrently, with credit for time served.
In September of this year, Sidney was found guilty of kidnapping Elvis and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The Moorers continue to deny any involvement in Heather’s disappearance and insist they did not murder her. They have also filed an appeal against their convictions.
Livesay believes that one of the Moorers will come forward with the truth about what happened to Heather Elvis while they are in prison.

Heather Elvis Affair With Sidney Moorer
In June 2013, Heather Elvis noticed Sidney Moorer; she tweeted earlier that month that she had “a taste for older men.” Sidney was married to Tammy Moorer.
Brianna, Elvis’ roommate, and coworker at the time, recalled her pointing Sidney out to her at work. Heather expressed sexual interest in “the guy who builds things at my job” almost a month later.
Sidney stated that his relationship with Heather was mainly limited to September 2013.
Sidney’s wife, Tammy was furious when she found out about the affair. His wife forced him to call Heather and end the affair while she was listening, according to Brianna.

Was Heather Elvis Pregnant?
According to her friends and family, Heather Elvis was moving on from the affair when the Moorers returned.
She’d gotten a job at a beauty salon in downtown Myrtle Beach, starting just before Christmas, which she was looking forward to, and she and Warrelmann had resolved to start going to church regularly.
On the other hand, Heather had gained weight, and coworkers at the Tilted Kilt noticed that her uniforms had increased three sizes.
She was concerned about becoming pregnant, possibly through Sidney’s involvement. Elvis’ Tilted Kilt manager stated that she had taken one pregnancy test, which resulted in an “error.”
Kulzer, Heather Elvis’ former roommate, said they never found out if she was pregnant or not. Heather, according to Livesay, was indeed pregnant with Sidney’s child.
During Sidney’s June 2016 trial, she claimed that the pregnancy test Sidney bought at Walmart on the night Heather went missing was not for his wife but Heather.

Tammy Moorer Is In Suspect List Of Heather Elvis’s Death Case
Tammy Moorer was charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to kidnap in October 2018.
Prosecutors had secured the second charge against Tammy and Sidney after reevaluating the evidence in preparation for what they expected to be a more difficult trial for Tammy Moorer.
“I think if she were pregnant, that would be another reason Tammy would want Heather out of the picture,” Kulzer speculated.
Tammy was described as an “extremely dominant person” by Livesay, and prosecutors emphasized this characterization during her trial.
Helms stated during his opening statements that Tammy took her husband’s phone, told him he couldn’t work at the Tilted Kilt anymore, and even handcuffed him to the bed at night.
Tammy testified that she had no idea who her husband was having an affair with until the girl called me back and introduced herself.
