Yolanda Hadid (/həˈdiːd/; née van den Herik; formerly Foster; born11 January 1964) is a Dutch-American television personality and former model. Selena fled the room, with Saldívar running behind her. She named Saldívar as her assailant before going to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased on arrival. Saldívar was arrested following a nine-and-a-half hour standoff with police.

Zayn Malik allegedly called Yolanda Hadid a “f****** Dutch s***” during an altercation in September. According to citation documents reviewed by The Independent, Malik also allegedly told Yolanda Hadid – the mother of model Gigi Hadid, with whom Malik has a one-year-old daughter – to “stay away from [his daughter]”.

Malik was charged with four counts of harassment in the Sept. 29 incident in which he allegedly “grabbed [Yolanda] and shoved her into a dresser,” according to court documents, which also revealed Malik allegedly hurled a series of insults at Yolanda, 57, and told her to “stay away from” his and Gigi’s daughter.

Saldívar had attended one of Selena’s concerts and wanted to start a club in San Antonio, which later grew to over 1,500 members in the four years she was involved.
