| Quote | |
|---|---|
| 1 | It’s exciting that you’ve got an entire season to experience 24 hours of highly dramatically charged human experience. It allows for the close inspection of minutiae in behavior. |
| 2 | I’d better make hay while the sun shines. |
| 3 | Directing is the ultimate way to bring together all the art forms I’ve been involved with over the years. |
| 4 | I can’t help but have my sights set on Scorsese, Cohen Brothers and Spike Jones. |
| 5 | I don’t look too far ahead. |
| 6 | I want to direct films, because I am a painter and a sculptor and I’ve done a lot of writing. |
| Fact | |

| 10 | Both he and wife Sarah Clarke have played turncoat government agents assisting in a presidential assassination: Berkeley in the film Air Force One (1997), and Clarke in the TV series 24 (2001). They both were in the first two seasons of 24 (2001), although they rarely, if at all, shared scenes. |
