On Saturday, a shooter with a gun opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. In what officials described as a “hate crime and racially motivate violent extremism,” they killed ten people and wounded three others before being apprehended, according to law enforcement personnel.
Authorities stated the shooter killed eleven black people and two white people in a racially motivated shooting spree that he broadcast live on social media.
According to one of the police officers, the shooter was filmed by a helmet-mounted camera. The footage showed the gunman in military attire driving in front of the supermarket with a rifle in the front seat, then going out of the vehicle and opened fire on bystanders in the parking lot.

Braedyn Kephart,20, and Shane Hill,20, pulled up in the parking lot when the gunman appeared. The shooter was characterized as a Caucasian male in his teens and early twenties who was dressed in full camouflage and carrying what seemed to be a rifle.

Payton Gendron, 18, had been arrested for the Buffalo Shooting case after his live streaming video went viral on cyberspace.

Payton Gendron walked into the supermarket and began fire, killing multiple people, including a recently retired officer working there as a security guard.
A law enforcement official stated to The Associated Press tath the shooter, Payton Gendron, threatened a shooting at his high school in June. After that, the then-17-year-old was taken in for a mental health evaluation, according to Buffalo Police Commissioner Joesph Gramaglia.
Meanwhile, the federal officials were still seeking to verify the integrity of a racist 180-page manifesto that outlined the plot and named Gendron by name as the gunman.
It also caused Buffalo resident and New York Governor Kathy Hochul to insist that the internet industry accept responsibility for its role in spreading hate speech.
