Wordsplayed Wife: Who Is Cataphant?
Cataphant, the wife of Wordsplayed, is a San Diego-based designer and fine artist with a musical background who uses shapes, textures, and human characteristics to produce artwork that expresses spiritual and mental states of being.
Her real name is Catalina Bellizzi-Itiola, and she is a half-Colombian, half-Argentine first-generation American who grew up in the Midwest. Catalina’s art communicates disembodiment and absolution through a blend of synesthetic shapes and textures with human features.

She was released from a psychiatric facility after checking herself two days after Christmas in 2020. Her father died after she was released.
