According to Stillwater police records, Hill was arrested on December 12, 2014, on charges of assaulting his 20-year-old pregnant girlfriend, Crystal Espinal.
According to the police report, after an altercation, he flung her around “like a ragdoll,” beat her in the face, sat on her repeatedly hit her in the stomach, and strangled her.
Following the allegations, Oklahoma State fired him from the football team.
Hill subsequently pled guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation and was sentenced to three years probation as well as an anger-management course.
However, later in the year 2019, it was found that the association was false, as there was a recording found by the NFL.
The whole unedited audio from the tape was published on July 9, 2019.
Hill accuses Espinal of lying about the domestic violence allegations in 2014 and about Hill breaking their son’s arm in the whole audio.
The NFL maintained that they have always had access to the whole audio recording.
