Tya Posley is a woman from Stanford, Florida, accused of abusing her child. According to Sanford police, she was arrested Tuesday morning after a shocking video of her slapping and beating a 1-year-old was shared on social media.

Police arrived at her residence after they were notified of the video shared as an Instagram story. They first arrived at her house to perform a wellness check on the child.

Although there were no physical marks on the infant, authorities identified the one-year-old as the victim, and the mother as an offender, as reported by The Shade Room. 

The video has sparked outrage on social media, with many people demanding that the mother be held accountable. They demanded her arrest as soon as the video went viral. 

Stanford Florida Woman Tya Posley Arrested For Child Abuse

A woman from Standford, Florida named Tya Posley is facing child abuse charges. Authorties took her into custody as soon as the video of her hotting her one-year-old child was posted on social media. 

In the footage, she can be seen shouting and hitting the baby. As heard in the video, it seems she was venting her anger caused by her husband at her toddler. She also used explicit words in front of the child, causing netizens to criticize her. 

Child Protective Services were called and took custody of the infant. On the other hand, Tya is currently being jailed at the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department on charges of cruelty to children without causing great bodily harm.

Was Tya Posley Bailed From Seminole County Jail?

Tya Posley was not bailed from Seminole County Jail. But, she is being held on a $2,000.00 bail. And the court has a date set for June 7th, as said by Click Orlando. 

Child Protective Services has taken care of the infant girl who was abused at this time (CPS). Unfortunately, her partner is yet to respond to this situation.
