Tracey Sydnor was an executive pastor at a Brooklyn church.
She served at the upper room baptist church in Bedford-Stuyvesant and was recently promoted to the role of executive pastor two months ago.
The incident came as a shock to everyone as her own son named Kenji stabbed him at least 15 times.
She was fatally injured with injuries on her neck, ear, hands, and other body parts.
Although she was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital, DailyMail reports that she couldn’t recover and passed away.

Kenji Francis is the son of the Brooklyn pastor, Tracey Sydnor, who stabbed the woman to death.
He is a 40-year-old man with a clear background check and no criminal history.
