Who is the best basketball player ever

NBA Top 100 player rankings for 2021-22: Kevin Durant edges LeBron James for No. 1; any rookies make the cut? – CBSSports.com.

Scoring Ability

Kobe Bryant has more career points than Michael Jordan, but Jordan was the better scorer between the two. Highlighted by his NBA record 10 scoring titles, Jordan also averaged 30.1 points per game. Let me also mention that Jordan’s scoring average is 5.1 points more than Bryant.

LeBron James: Regular season stats. Jordan is superior in the scoring department, but James grabs rebounds and dishes out assists at a higher rate. While both players are known for tenacious defense on the wing, Jordan finished first in the league in steals three times in his career.

Without a doubt, LeBron has had a greater career than Kawhi Leonard. Though Kawhi is only 29 with time to add to his already Hall of Fame career, LeBron has already captured 3 NBA titles and has proven himself in every facet of the game. LeBron has made the NBA Finals 9 times, winning 3 NBA titles with 3 Finals MVPs.

The Bottom Line: While LeBron is much more of a team player than Kobe was, and is more dominant and holds better stats, Kobe was a more versatile and complete player, a virtuoso with amazing skills and defense abilities.

Boston Celtics center Bill Russell holds the record for the most NBA championships won with 11 titles during his 13-year playing career.

Among players his height or taller, Kobe is 17th all-time in career assist percentage. But he’s still comfortably behind Curry. In 2018-19, Curry averaged a career-low 5.2 assists. … Being the best shooter ever has made Curry one of the game’s best playmakers.

MJ is widely recognized as the greatest of all time, although there is always an ongoing debate for some other all-time greats including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron James, and Bill Russell among others.

Bo Jackson v Jackie Robinson

The Greatest Athlete of All Time title goes to Bo Jackson. This was based on the comparison of a range of sport science metrics. Even without the science, public vote had him well ahead – after 27,397 votes Jackson was well ahead with 79.5% of the votes.

Jordan. His middle name, Bakari, means “noble promise” in Swahili. (He is not related to, or named after, basketball legend Michael Jordan.) Jordan has starred in three of the most critically acclaimed television dramas of the past decade.

1. Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant is the best player since Michael Jordan, since he is the player most like Jordan.

He retired for the third and final time on April 16, 2003. Jordan’s time on the Bulls was the subject of a docuseries The Last Dance on ESPN in 2020.

Michael Jordan and LeBron James were teammates in 2003

One night, Jordan and the college kids he had at the camp played five-on-five, and James and MJ ended up on the same team. During an interview in May 2020, James told the story about being teammates with Jordan and how his team never lost a game.

The end of LeBron James’ career has been speculated, but the Lakers star recently put a timeline on his retirement in the “SmartLess” podcast with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett. It doesn’t sound like he’s stepping away any time soon. I truly hope that I can finish my career with the Lakers.

Retirements from Basketball

Over the 19 years since beginning his professional basketball career, Jordan retired from the sport three times. He first retired in 1993 and again in 1998, then finally hung up his jersey for good in 2003.

LeBron uses his strength and athleticism to excel on the court, while Magic has a better all-around offensive game and is a better leader. They’re both very good passers and rebounders, but Magic has a distinct edge as an assist man with an average of 11.2 a game, best-ever in the NBA.
