|---|---|
And of course, I’m still loving my greatest role ever….being a mom to my beautiful daughter Londyn. She is now 10 months and getting into everything! Who needs a gym membership?
On Blake Woodruff: When you’re on the screen with him, you better make sure you know what you’re doing because he’ll totally steal the show.
If they’d handed over the command over [Stargate] SG-1 to Amanda [Tapping] and me, we’d definitely soon have a pure comedy show, no, I don’t think we’d manage to get anything serious going because we’d be joking non-stop!
[Her ideal storyline on Stargate SG-1 (1997)] “I’d wish for a romantic story, where my character finally gets to conquer the male guest star. Now look at this show: Jack and Daniel always get some women, and also Sam gets her choice. And what does Dr. Fraiser get? A stethoscope”.
[on the idea of an on-screen romance on Stargate SG-1 (1997)] “The fans always want to link you up romantically. The British fans always want to link me up with Dr. Daniel Jackson, and another group of fans want to link me up with Jack O’Neill. I would hate to see any kind of love interest among the team. I think if there was something like that it would be better coming from someone off the base”.
“I’m so not like [Stargate SG-1 (1997) character Dr. Janet] Fraiser. She’s so controlled and contained. I’m nuts! I’m full of energy! I’m always going. I try to slow it down by doing yoga, but I end up the loudest one in the class. I’m always active, roller blading and taking dance classes”.
I can’t remember a time I wasn’t performing.
| Fact | |
|---|---|
She made guest appearances on all three of the longest running North American science fiction series: The X-Files (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997) – 75 Episodes and Smallville (2001).
Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at 5:26pm, gave birth to a little girl named Londyn Jean Alana Abrahams-Rothery weighing 6lbs 15 oz and measuring 19 1/2 in long.
Has appeared in episodes of two different television series with Peter Stebbings where the main characters’ base of operations was the Cheyenne Mountain Complex in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA: Stargate SG-1 (1997) and Jeremiah (2002).
Her character, Dr. Janet Fraiser, was killed off in the seventh season of Stargate SG-1 (1997), much to the displeasure of the show’s fanbase.
Travelled to Korea (July 2001) and Qatar (December 2001) on USO Tours.
