Terrance Williams is a twenty-seven-year-old native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and a father of four children who went missing on January 12, 2004. He had recently moved to Florida to be near his mother, Marcia.
At that time, Terrance was last seen being arrested by Steve Calkins, a deputy in Collier County Sheriff’s Department. The deputy arrested him for driving without a license.
In the new docuseries Never Seen Again, where families share the stories of their lost loved ones and reach out to the public for answers, filmmaker, producer, and director Tyler Perry will cover the story of Terrance Williams’s disappearance and try to uncover the mysteries.
Terrance Williams Was Arrested For Driving Without A Licence
According to Williams’roomate Jason Gonzalez, he spoke to Terrance on the phone on the evening of Sunday: the day Terrance went missing before heading to bed. Williams was at a party that evening at his coworker’s house.
According to information on the Wikipedia page, he did not have a valid driver’s license before his disappearance as he was cited for driving under the influence. It was also reported that his registration on his car was expired.
Despite not having a valid driver’s license, he decided to drive to the party at a coworker’s house illegally as he could not find another ride to drop him off at the place. His roommate Jason became concerned when Williams did not return home from the party and emailed Terrance’s mother Marcia on January 13 about his concern.
The car-tow report was signed by Deputy Steve Calkins, one of the deputies of the Collier County Sheriff’s Department. After the family found out about the car tow report, they contacted the sheriff’s department and found that Calkins had not filed an incident report, nor had he made an arrest.
Further Investigation On The Case. Terrance Williams Missing Case Update
After a few days after the disappearance, deputy Calkin’s supervisor asked him to submit an incident report on Williams’s disappearance case. On the incident report, the deputy sheriff mentions that he first met Williams at 12:15 pm after seeing William’s car in distress and followed him to the cemetery parking lot.
According to his report, Terrance asked him to drop him off at the Circle K convenience store as he was late for work. After dropping him off at Circle K, the deputy discovered that Williams did not have proper car registration.
According to an article on Wikipedia, a new lead on the case was discovered when the Mexican Consulate in Miami contacted Marcia providing her information about a similar disappearance case of Mexican immigrant Felipe Santos. This case also revolved around deputy Calkins who claimed that he dropped Santos off at another Circle k, approximately four miles from where he claimed he dropped off Williams.
