Officials on Mexico’s Caribbean coast have released a missing person notice for an Australian lady whose 2-year-old daughter was seen walking alone in Cancun.
According to prosecutors in the coastal province of Quintana Roo, Tahnee Shanks, 32, was last seen in Cancun on Monday. There was no quick word on how she and her daughter were separated.
However, authorities issued a missing person warning for the girl’s father, a Mexican citizen Jorge Luis Aguirre Astudillo, a disappeared person warning. Aguirre Astudillo is 32 years old and was last seen on Monday.
