Steve Wariner Net Worth $10 Million

From an early age, Steve started showing an interest in music, listening to George Jones and Chet Atkins among others, and as soon as he could, joined his father’s band. Little by little, Steve ventured out on his own, and was playing a bass guitar for Dottie West when he was 17 years old, working on her song “Country Sunshine”, and then collaborating with Glen Campbell. His presence in the country music scene began to increase, and he became sought by several other notable country musicians, including Bob Luman, and then toured extensively with Chet Atkins, who helped him sign a recording contract with RCA Records.

His debut self-titled album came out in 1982, and which spawned the hit single “All Roads Lead to You”, and although he received positive reviews, the sales of the album left Steve disappointed. He released one more album for the RCA Records, “Midnight Fire” (1983), before switching to MCA Records. During the second half of the ‘80s, Steve reached his career peak, and with the albums “One Good Night Deserves Another” (1985), “Life’s Highway” (1985), “I Should Be with You” (1988),”I Got Dreams” and “Laredo” (1990) increasing his wealth to a large degree, and numerous singles from those albums topped the US Country chart too.

After MCA Records, he signed a recording contract with Arista Records, and continued quite successfully, taking his career on to a new level with the albums “I Am Ready” (1991), which was the first album to achieve gold status in the USA, and “Drive” in 1993.

He then released three studio albums for the Capitol Records – “Burnin’ the Roadhouse Down” 1998) and “Two Teardrops” (1999) – which also achieved gold status, further increasing his wealth, and “Faith in You” (2000), before founding his own label, SelecTone Records. Since then, he has released six more albums, but without any major success, except for the Grammy Award in category for Best Country Instrumental Performance for “Producer’s Medley”, found on his album “My Tribute to Chet Atkins” in 2009.

Regarding his personal life, Steve is married to Caryn, with whom he has two sons – Ross and Ryan – who are also involved in music industry and are developing respective careers.
