Stephanie Miller is a chef and restaurateur with two restaurants in Bismarck: Butterhorn and Shelter Belt.
She was first drawn to medicine and enrolled in pre-med courses at the University of North Dakota, but her passion shifted to cooking.
As a result, she altered her major and enrolled in culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis.
Stephanie spent the following seven years of her cooking career working with James Beard Award-winning chefs Lenny Russo and Doug Flicker.
She was hired as an Executive Chef at the Italian Eatery as a result of her work at the renowned restaurant Piccolo.
