Stephanie Hirst is a radio and TV presenter who is currently heard on Hits radio. Find out more about Stephanie in this article.
She has always DJ’ed live in addition to her radio profession. Hirst founded her “Kitchen Belter” company in 2016, inspired by DJing in her kitchen when the option to stream content on Facebook Live became available in late 2015.
Hirst knew early on that a regular weekly DJ set of 90s, 00s, and 10s dance songs was something her fans would enjoy while getting ready for a night out or cooking dinner. The broadcast had over 100,000 weekly views and replays.
As a result of the success of this, she returned to mainstream radio for Bauer’s Hits Radio Pride, which began as a brief “pop-up” DAB & Online station for the LGB community and has now grown to become a full-time national radio station.
She entered the nationwide Hits Broadcasting network in August 2021 to present “Stephanie Hirst’s Belters,” a 3-hour celebration of the best 90s, 00s, and 10s dance throwbacks, after the popularity of her weekly Hits Radio Pride show. Since then, it has been one of the most popular TV shows on the Hits Radio app.
