She also claimed that he went on saying, “Oh, Romsey, you’ve got a lovely seat.” When Sky News approached Mr. Johnson for the comment on the allegation;
He said, “I have no recollection of Caroline Nokes at all.” This came up in the course of a cross-party panel discussion hosted by Sky News with four female MPs.
All four women told Sky News that they believed public physical harassment should be made a specific crime in upcoming legislation.

Nokes was married to Marc Nokes in 1995, whereas by 2012, the couple got divorced. She announced their divorce calling it a “personal tragedy.”
On 14 November 2012, she issued a statement confirming that they had divorced officially. She added, they were still on good terms and remain friends in the future.
