Who Is Stan Grant Wife Tracey Holmes?
Australian journalist Stan Grant’s wife, Tracey Holmes, has been a broadcaster on ABC NewsRadio since January 2014.
Holmes began her career in 1989 as a journalist for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Later, she became Australia’s first female host of Grandstand, the country’s flagship sports program.
From 1996 to 1998, Tracey worked as a media spokesperson for the Sydney Olympic Games organizing committee. (SOCOG). She shared hosting duties with SBS during the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
She also appeared on the World Cup Show while the 2006 FIFA World Cup was held in Germany.
Stan and Holmes started dating in 2000, which resulted in their departure from Channel 7. The following year, they welcomed a son, Jesse, and soon after, Grant was offered a position as a CNN broadcaster in Hong Kong.
Two years later, they relocated to mainland China when Grant was allowed to work as a CNN journalist in Beijing.
Stan Grant Parents And Family
Stanley Vernard Grant Sr and Elizabeth Grant are the parents of Stan Grant.
His father is an elder of the Wiradjuri tribe of Indigenous Australians and a resident of what is currently the southwest inland region of the Australian state of New South Wales.
Because he is the grandson of an older man who was jailed for speaking his language, he currently teaches children the Wiradjuri language.
Stanley and Dr. John Rudder published “A New Wiradjuri Dictionary,” a 600-page book, in 2005. This initiative was honored in 2006 with the Deadly Award for Outstanding Achievement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education.

Stan Grant is renowned for writing on Indigenous issues and constantly speaking and writing about his identity as a Wiradjuri man.
Grant’s Aboriginal heritage influences his fierce, tenacious attitude. In 1963, Stan Grant was born in Griffith, located southwest of New South Wales. His father is Wiradjuri, while his mother is Kamilaroi.
After receiving a training contract with the Macquarie Radio Network during his time in college, Stan started a journalism career that has lasted more than 30 years and travelled to more than 70 countries.
The Wiradjuri, an Aboriginal Australian group, is located in the southwest interior region of New South Wales. He spent a significant amount of his formative years in inner Victoria, which is also Wiradjuri’s homeland.
