Sophie is a para-swimmer of New Zealand born on 8 January 1993. She becomes the most successful Paralympian of New Zealand, winning almost nine gold medals and seven silver medals.

Currently, she won her first Paralympic bronze medal in Tokyo, 2020. She swam in Toyko’s S9 100m backstrokes final and won a silver medal in the SB8 100m breaststroke in paralympic, Tokyo 2020.
