Shifty Shellshock Net Worth $10,000

Shifty grew up with a very big interest in music, listening to many artists including the Beastie Boys, The Cure, and LL Cool J. He then started to record albums, developing his own style of music, then in 1992, he would meet Bret Mazur and the duo would start collaborating under the name The Brimstone Sluggers – seven years later, they would form the group Crazy Town, and would begin performing, touring with Ozzfest the following year, however, it was short-lived. They then released the single “Butterfly” which would find huge success, reaching the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, and their debut album – “The Gift of Game” – would sell 1.5 million copies, increasing Shifty’s net worth significantly. In 2002, they released their second album “Darkhorse”, which was a commercial failure and prompted the group to disband.

Shellshock then decided to concentrate on solo work, but collaborated with Paul Oakenfold for the song “Starry Eyed Surprise” which found some success, and it prompted Shellshock to release his solo album entitled “Happy Love Sick” in 2004. His song “Slide Along Side” found a bit of popularity in Europe, then in 2007, Crazy Town reformed and they performed live two years later.

Shellshock also performed with the group Shifty and The Big Shots, which released two singles then in 2015, Crazy Town released the album “The Brimstone Sluggers”.

Aside from music, Shifty was also featured in reality television shows with celebrities tackling addiction problems. He appeared in the first season of “Celebrity Rehab” in which he admitted that he had an addiction to cocaine. His sobriety after the end of the first season was short lived, as he appeared in the second season as well, and subsequently in the follow up show called “Sober House” which aired in 2008 – he actually experienced a relapse during the show. He also appeared in the second season, in which he admitted that he still had drug problems.

For his personal life, it is known that Shifty married Melissa Clark in 2002 and they have a son, but divorced in 2011. He was then engaged to Jasmine Lennard but the marriage was called off apparently because of Shifty’s drug problems – they also have a son. Shifty’s drug problems apparently continue – n 2012 he was admitted to a hospital in a coma but recovered and was discharged.
