Shauhin Davari is one of Sherri Papini’s ex-boyfriends from the early 2000s, as per Sacbee.com.

When Papini was discovered in Yolo County, she informed the authorities that she was taken at gunpoint by two Hispanic ladies.

Sherri Papini Fake Kidnapping Case Update

Sherri Papini’s arrest was announced by US Attorney Philip Talbert, FBI Special Agent in Charge Sean Ragan, and Shasta County Sheriff Michael L. Johnson.

The inquiry eventually found that there has been no kidnapping, according to Talbert.

Because of the defendant’s actions, all the time and resources “that could have been utilized to investigate true crime, protect the community, and offer services to victims were squandered.”

Moreover, Papini risks a possible statutory penalty of five years in jail and a fine up to $250,000, if prosecuted for making false statements to a federal law enforcement official.
