A Temple University student died after a Sunday afternoon shooting in North Philadelphia. At around 1:32 p.m., the shooting took place in the 2200 block of North Park Avenue.
According to the Philadelphia police, Samuel Sean Collington, a student of Temple University from Prospect Park, Philadelphia, was shot twice in the chest.
Similarly, the Police even added that Samuel was taken to Temple Hospital, but unfortunately, he couldn’t make it through and died at the hospital.
Temple Student Shot: Who is Samuel Sean Collington?
Samuel Sean Collington was a student at Temple University who was shot twice in the chest on Sunday afternoon in North Philadelphia.
The officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called immediately to the 2200 block of North Park Avenue in the afternoon for the reports of gunfire.
Collington, however, couldn’t make it through and later died at the hospital. Later on, Temple University, however, confirmed that Samuel was a student at the school.
With a heavy heart, Temple University released a statement citing the tragedy and has shown deepest condolence with the victim’s family, friends, and the entire Temple community during this difficult time.

Until now, no arrests or suspects have been reported following the deadly shooting that took place in North Philadelphia.
The Police, however, haven’t said anything related to the shooting and also haven’t provided the description of the gunman.
It is believed that the Philadelphia Police Department is still gathering the details regarding the incident. Additionally, the notification of the Student’s family and friends is still pending, due to which Student’s identity remains hidden.
