Justin Andrew Honard, better known by his stage name Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 and mononymously as Alaska, is an American drag queen and recording artist from Erie, Pennsylvania.
She is most known for being the runner-up on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5 and the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Season 2. In June 2019, a team of judges from New York magazine ranked her ninth out of 100 previous Drag Race contestants on their list of “the most powerful drag queens in America.”
Honard grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and went on to study theatre at the University of Pittsburgh after graduating from Fort LeBoeuf High School in 2003.
