Rudolf Schenker Net Worth $10 million

Rudolf started his music career in 1965 when he helped found The Scorpions. He became one of the band’s main songwriters and would become their most consistent member. He helped them produce every album, and has also participated in every one of their tours – one of their most successful lineups ran from 1978 to 1992. They became known for their hard rock beats from the 1970s, before moving towards a more melodic metal sound, receiving a lot of critical acclaim. Some of their successful albums include “Love at First Sting”, “World Wide Live”, and “Savage Amusement”, with their best-selling album being “Crazy World” which was released in 1990, with the single from the album “Wind of Change” becoming one of the best-selling singles in the world, having sold over 14 million copies. Scorpions would sell over 100 million copies, having released a total of 27 compilation albums and 18 studio albums. They have platinum and multiplatinum records in numerous countries.

Thanks to all of these achievements, Schenker’s net worth built up quickly. He’s also well known for his wild live performances and energetic playing style. Some of his signature moves on stage include throwing the guitar up and catching it, as well as swinging the guitar over his head. According to an interview, his goal is to become a good composer and not necessarily the best guitarist. Most of the group’s guitar solos were performed by Matthias Jabs, but Rudolf performed the solo of songs such as “Big City Nights”, “Still Loving You”, and “Send Me an Angel”.
The Scorpions would win three World Music Awards as well as a star on the Hollywood Rock wall. They are also a part of the permanent exhibition of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

In 2000, Schenker was awarded the city of Hanover plaque, and was also given the Lower Saxony Order of Merit and the Cross of Merit First Class. In 2015, the band celebrated their 50th anniversary.
