Romy Rutherford is in the news following her case of the millionaire fraud in the Army with funds related to the Reserved Copper Law.
She has already prosecuted three other former Chilean Army chief commanders: scar Izurieta (2006-2010), Juan Miguel Fuente Alba (2010-2014), and Humberto Oviedo (2014-2018).

Romy Rutherford has a sibling Luis Guillermo Rutherford López who was a former Army officer and the National Information Center. We could not locate her on Instagram.
Luis is the half-brother of Judge Romy Rutherford who mysteriously disappeared in 2009. Nora Figueroa, his ex-partner and the mother of his son Diego Rutherford, filed a presumed death action in the civil courts of Santiago in January of that year.
However, it was unsuccessful.
According to Capredena documents, the pension is still being deposited in the account of the presumed deceased. And eventually collected month by month.
But it is not yet known who is receiving it or in what form, other than that it is not an inheritance.
