Who Is Roger Miller Coronado? Golf Course Director and Wife Racist Comments, Anti-Asian Hate Controversy

The racist couple, Roger Miller and Sandra Miller from Coronado, called Asian racial slurs. Continue reading this article to explore the controversy.

In Coronado, a couple began making racist remarks to a few Asians. The racist video was shared on TikTok and quickly went viral in no time.

Many viewers have expressed their displeasure with the pair, calling them Asian racist insults.

Let’s look at this story to learn more about what occurred to the couple and the anti-Asian hatred dispute.

Who Is Roger Miller Coronado? Everything On Golf Course Director

Coronado’s Director of Recreation & Golf Services, Roger Miller, and his wife have been accused of making racist remarks about China and the coronavirus.

On Saturday, January 29, the event is said to have occurred near Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California.

Miller has been the Director of Golf Services for the City of Coronado since June 2009.

Did you know Roger Miller, Coronado employee, spews racist crap at the public?

Is he worth it? pic.twitter.com/wMXKVDayuc

— John Mott (@mottlione) January 30, 2022

He was designated temporary Director of Recreation in November 2014, in addition to Golf, then Director of the newly amalgamated department of Recreation and Golf Services in June 2015.

The claims arose after the publication of a video showing Roger Miller, the city’s Director of leisure and golf services, and his wife, Sandra Miller, walking away from the person filming the video in a parking garage.

The pair allegedly made racist comments before recording, including accusations about Chinese people spreading COVID-19, according to the video’s uploader, who claimed the event happened this weekend in Newport Beach.

Roger Miller And Wife Sandra Racist Comments – Anti-Asian Hate Controversy

A pair (a guy and a woman claiming to be Miller and his wife) “started calling us racist obscenities out of nowhere and blamed Asians for founding COVID,” according to a video circulated on social media.

We challenged them because they continued to make racist remarks loudly enough to hear.

“Are you speaking those comments towards us?” the individuals recording react. By the way, we’re not even Chinese. They further added

“Yeah, maybe, could be,” the pair says as they hop into their car.

The United States of America is a free country. Return to China.” The couple said. As they drive away, Miller flashes his middle finger.

Sandra Miller was fired from her employment at Linfield Christian School, a K-12 school in Temecula, according to a statement put on the school’s website Monday morning.

“We are aware of the video concerning Ms. Sandra Miller,” the school said in a statement.

Linfield has promptly terminated Ms. Miller’s employment after speaking with her about the event.

Ms. Miller’s views do not reflect Linfield’s principles, are incompatible with the university’s mission statement and fall short of the behavior that Linfield wants its staff to exhibit for its students.”

Translation: We’re going to wait until you forget and then give him his job back.

What is there to investigate?
