Who Is Richard Gasquet Girlfriend? Facts About His Relationship With Laury Thilleman

Tennis star Richard Gabriel Cyr Gasquet, whose career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 7 was obtained on July 9, 2007, amassed 15 ATP Tour singles victories.

His three semifinal matches at the Wimbledon Championships (in 2007 and 2015) and one victory at the US Open ranked among his best Grand Slam singles tournament results. His doubles partner, Julien Benneteau, also won the men’s doubles bronze medal in the 2012 Olympics.

In March 2021, Gasquet won 550 games, making him just the sixth active player on the ATP tour. On the list of active players with more than 580 victories, he is presently at No. 5.

In a recent match, he was defeated by Rafael Nadal at the US Open 2022 by 6-0, 6-1, 7-5. Aside from this, here’s what we know about his love life.

Richard Gasquet And His Girlfriend Attended The Ligue 1 Uber Eats Match

Though his girlfriend’s name is unknown, Getty Images spotted Richard Gasquet with his wife-to-be-girlfriend last month.

On August 13, 2022, in Paris, France, the two are spotted attending the Ligue 1 Uber Eats match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Montpellier HSC (MHSC) at Parc des Princes stadium.

In essence, the two are seen enjoying and having a good time while watching the game. Furthermore, since splitting from his alleged girlfriend, Laury Thilleman, in 2012, the tennis player has frequently kept his romantic relationships a secret.

In a similar way, while his Instagram feed also includes pictures from his professional life, he seldom ever posts anything about his personal life.

French Tennis Star Relationship Trouble With Women Pamela

A few years back, Gasquet experienced relationship difficulties of a much more devastating sort when he almost lost his profession due to a woman only known as “Pamela.”

After the waitress returned from a dubious trip to the bathroom, the liplocks supposedly ended with one last passionate kiss inside a strip club. He kissed her at least seven times, lasting between five and ten seconds, according to Gasquet, who described those kisses as “nice ones.”

The 29-year-old waitress, only known as Pamela, was the target of a criminal complaint brought by Gasquet’s attorneys. In a countersuit for defamation of character, the woman claims they only kissed once before she dumped Gasquet.

Per Heavy, he was given a provisional suspension from the sport in May 2009 after cocaine traces were discovered in a urine sample collected during the Sony Ericsson Open in Florida.

Gasquet disputed that a woman (Pamela as mentioned above) he had been kissing at a Miami nightclub was how the cocaine got into his system.

Two months after the ban was imposed, a tribunal lifted it after accepting Gasquet’s justification and noting that the amount of cocaine in his sample was “minimal, around the size of a grain of salt.”

Richard Gasquet Rumored To Date Laury Thilleman In 2012

Richard Gasquet was once linked to Laury Thilleman, Miss France 2011; though the exact date of their relationship is unknown, it is said that the pair dated around 2012, and a few years later, they ended their relationship.

The 31-year-old was France’s contestant in Miss Universe 2011, held in So Paulo (Brazil), and ranked in the top 10 (6th runner-up).

Similarly, her second-place finish in the Miss France pageant, Clémence Olesky (Miss Auvergne), represented France at the Miss World pageant, which was hosted in London.

Along with that, Thilleman participated in the fourth season of the French program Danse avec les stars (Dancing with the stars).

With her partner in a dance, Maxime Dereymez, she came in eighth and went on the first tour of Danse avec les Stars.

After Richard, The TV Host Married To Her Boyfriend Juan Arbelaez In 2019

Laury Thilleman married her husband, Juan Arbelaez, a chef in her region of origin, in Brest, in Brittany, on December 21, 2019. For their entire four-year relationship, Juan Arbelaez and Laury Thilleman have always been in the open.

On the set of Je t’aime, etc., Juan Arbelaez revealed, “The fire and the magic struck.” It was when we started to communicate that his gentle and dear admitted that he was not his “kind” at first glance.

Eventually, their mutual sentiments erupted, and they haven’t stopped since!

The lovers have made it a habit of sharing their intimate moments—on a tropical trip or on a dance floor—with their followers on social media.

Among their loved ones, they celebrated their marriage at a time when both of them were living life to the fullest.

The 36-Years-Old’s Affair Rumors With Arnaud Lagardere

In a 2007 story in the French magazine Le Point, the father-of-two and husband, Arnaud Lagardere, was questioned about if he was having an affair with the tennis pro, who was 23 years old at the time.

He vehemently refuted the rumor, as did Gasquet, who called it “bullshit” to the media. Neither he nor I am homosexual. It is blatantly apparent.

A few months later, Gasquet used an additional opportunity to refute the claims during a competition in Shanghai.

When a reporter questioned him about the woman in his player’s box, he responded, “Not my girl.” I’m not sure. Definitely not my girl. Not at all; I have buddies. I have friends who are men, yet I’m not homosexual.

On the other hand, Lagardere went a step further and did the one thing that 100% categorically demonstrated that he was a heterosexual man’s man: he divorced his wife and two kids to marry a leggy Belgian swimsuit model half his age.
