Who Is Ricardo Cruciani Wife? Family Confirm His Death After Conviction Against Multiple Women

Ricardo Cruciani was a neurologist convicted in late July for sexually assaulting his patients and committed suicide in prison at Riker’s Island on Monday.

The court ruled judgment of 20 years of a prison sentence on the doctor for his actions after six of his victims testified in court while his ex-wife continued to support him throughout the trial.

Let us learn more about the deceased convict, his family details, his wife, the assault case against him, his prison sentence, and his death.

Who Is Ricardo Cruciani’s Wife? His Family Details

Ricardo Cruciani’s ex-wife Nora was present at his side during the trial against him with allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse of his patients.

Cruciani’s ex-wife is a pediatrician and attended the trials with him. Still, he has not spoken much about the case or provided any information on the matter to the media.

With the severity of the case, his children’s and family members’ names stay hidden from the public, with hate against the convicted doctor’s family members.

Ricardo was 67 years old when he killed himself inside the jail where he was convicted, but many have doubts about how the attempt was successful and suspect foul play.

With multiple claims of assault and misusing his medical license, it is shameful for Cruciani’s family to learn about the heinous crimes committed by the doctor on his unsuspecting helpless patients.

Multiple Assault Cases On Women

Ricardo Cruciani got arrested on multiple assault charges on women who were his patients for chronic pain at the clinic. The doctor was a gifted neurologist, and claiming his history in psychology, he mistreated his patients.

His multiple victims claim that the doctor would force himself on his female patients, making them do obscene sexual acts, and if his patients denied his requests, he would deny them access to strong drugs he had prescribed before.

Cruciani was not just a sex offender but also misusing his license as a doctor, which got him arrested on more than 30 criminal charges in New York, with more in Pennsylvania.

In 2017, the officials caught the doctor for the allegations of sexual abuse in Philadelphia, where he got branded as a sex offender and had to give up his license.

Six of his victims testified in the court of law and revealed that the staff of his hospital and clinics knew well about the doctor’s acts but turned a blind eye against the complaints, which only made him more notorious.

The court sentenced him to twenty years in prison after hearing the victims’ statements with multiple charges of sexual abuse, drug abuse, blackmail, and many more.

Ricardo Cruciani Suicide After Conviction

After being convicted, Ricardo Cruciani was placed in the Rikers Island prison in solitary confinement when he decided to end his life.

The court convicted him on July 29, and after two weeks of his time in prison, the guards found him on Monday with a white sheet wrapped around his neck with speculations of suicide.

Statements from the prison revealed that they were understaffed, which caused the lack of surveillance, but most civilians suspect foul play since there have been numerous deaths in the prison.

Some are asking for a change in the penitentiary system with the eradication of solitary confinement since they are assumed to be the leading cause of lack of security and suicide cases.

While others think it is what the criminal deserved saying, “I see nothing wrong with that, he wanted to end his life and give the taxpayers some money. Now move along.”
