The Prichard jail has arrested the alleged suspect Reuben Gulley who has turned himself into the department as the murderer of Mam Tot’s son.
TikTok star Mama Tot, real name Ophelia Nichols, lost her son, Randon Lee, only a few hours before his 19th birthday after being shot to death in a gas station in June 2022. The online personality used her social media following to address the situation and pleaded for help from the people, highlighting that someone might know any details.
While she pointed out that someone killed Randon at a gas station while preparing for his upcoming birthday, the police later released a statement stating that he was on the spot to trade drugs. US Magazine mentions that the boy was selling marijuana to two other people on the site before being shot.
Although the details were out, no person was under police arrest despite the officials getting some lead. Outside the planned process, a 20-year-old man Reuben Gulley presented himself to the police, identifying as the murderer, on August 18.
