Reid Garrett Hoffman was born on 5 August 1967, in Palo Alto, California USA, and is an entrepreneur, author and venture capitalist responsible for the creation of the social media website LinkedIn, the creation of which and his numerous investments have made him one of the richest entrepreneurs today with a very high net worth.
