Raven Abaroa remarried his new wife Vanessa Pond in 2008 before he was sentenced to prison for the murder of his first wife Janet Abaroa. Where is he today?
On April 26, 2005, Raven Abaroa called 911 to report that his wife was shot to death.
The police responded to the scene immediately. Upon arriving, they discovered that his wife, Janet Abaroa, was not shot but stabbed multiple times.
Janet’s autopsy also showed she was pregnant with the couple’s second child at the time. Their first son, Kaiden, was only six months old when she died.
Naturally, all the fingers instantly pointed towards her husband Raven.
However, there was no concrete evidence to prove Raven guilty of her murder. In addition, he had a solid alibi that showed he was playing a game of soccer with his friends when the murder supposedly took place.
He managed to evade the police for around five years before he was finally arrested and convicted in 2010, as per TheCinemaholic.

Who Is Raven Abaroa New Wife?
Raven Abaroa met and tied the knot with his new wife Vanessa Pond in the five years he evaded his arrest on the basis of his alibi.
He moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, with his son Kaiden. He enrolled his son in a daycare center where he met Vanessa, a single mother whose daughter also attended the same daycare.
Vanessa and Abaroa started spending time together and fell in love. She was aware that he was a widow and his first wife was murdered.
Janet’s sister also called her and informed her of Abaroa’s possible involvement in relation to her murder. But, he managed to convince Vanessa of his innocence and the two eventually got married in 2008.
However, Abaroa’s behavior changed shortly into the marriage. Pond revealed he turned abusive towards her and the couple divorced four months after the marriage.

Where Is Raven Abaroa Today? Janet Abaroa Murder
Raven Abaroa was released from prison in 2017 after serving a sentence of a little under eight years, reported Distractify.
It is believed he returned to Utah upon his released. His son, Kaiden lives with his grandparents Karyn Abaroa-Bolton and Jim Bolton.
The police linked Abaroa’s involvement in Janet’s murder after they found her contact lenses missing from the case.
Janet’s sister reported that she always removed her lenses before she went to bed. However, Abaroa had informed police that she was in bed watching television when he last saw her.
Thus, the police exhumed her body, discovering she was buried with her contact lenses at the time. The police also found other loopholes in Abaroa’s story.
For instance, he told the police Janet was blue and her eyes were open when he found her but he told his friend that she was alive when he got home that night.
After a lot of investigation, Abaroa was arrested in 2010. He filed a plea for voluntary manslaughter in 2014 and was sentenced to prison for 95-123 months.
