Who Is Prince Dixon Of Gravesend? Sasha Johnson Shooting Suspect Update
The case against four men accused of shooting black equal rights activist Sasha Johnson, including Prince Dixon, has been dismissed.
Ms. Johnson is the founding member of the Taking The Initiative Party and played a crucial role in last summer’s Black Lives Matter campaign.
Four young males were charged with conspiring to murder an unknown person or individuals and possessing a weapon and its ammunition with the intent to endanger life.
Their trial was set for March 7, but prosecutor Mark Heywood QC gave no evidence at an Old Bailey hearing on Tuesday, and not guilty verdicts were formally recorded.
Police have previously stated that they do not believe she was the intended victim of the gunshot, which occurred just before 3 a.m. in the garden of a Peckham home.
The four guys dressed in black tracksuits smiled as the prosecutor, Mark Heywood QC, revealed that their case had been dismissed following a review.
Where Is He Now? Everything To Know About
The accusations against Prince Dixon have already been dropped. Mr. Heywood explained the circumstantial evidence against the defendants at the hearing before Mr. Justice Hilliard, claiming that the case was dropped after a comprehensive assessment by the Crown Prosecution Service’s highest levels.
He described the case as a “deliberate gunshot” at partygoers at the back of the Peckham residence.
Four men with balaclavas approached the residence and fired a firearm at visitors, one round injuring the victim in the head at “very close range.”
The court heard that they plotted and performed surveillance before attacking with “murderous intent” on one or more partygoers, based on CCTV analysis, phone cell location, and call data.
The prosecutor made it clear that Ms. Johnson was not targeted because of her anti-racist activism or involvement with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Each defendant denied participating in the alleged plot or being present on the night of the shooting.
Prince Dixon Family Photos On Internet
At the time, there wasn’t a lot of information on Prince Dixon’s family. His pictures have missing from the internet.
Police agencies have also withheld his identity and photographs from the public, possibly for security reasons.
The victim’s family, on the other side, has been devastated by the occurrence. The investigation’s main detective, Chief Inspector Richard Leonard, claimed: “substantial progress” had been made in the last three weeks.
However, he requested anybody with the knowledge to come forward in order to help Sasha and her family “obtain justice.”
