The account has a sizable following on the platform, with over 79,100 followers. Yemini, who claims to have been blocked by the account on his Rebel News website, filed a federal court complaint in March against the account and tweets he claims were defamatory.
Yemini has stated repeatedly that he wishes to know who is behind the account. He requested the Federal Court to compel Twitter to reveal the true identity of the Twitter account known as PRGuy.
An Australian judge has ordered Twitter to pass over the personal information of an anonymous user ahead of a potential defamation prosecution.
He has kept his true identity disguised and claims that Avi’s efforts to disclose his true identity would be futile. Netizens are eager to learn his actual name and, as one writer put it, “I thought we were supposed to know PRGuy17’s true identity, today. What’s the hold-up?”
