Fleming’s interest in figure skating started at the age of nine, when her family moved to Cleveland. Her father encouraged her to pursue the sport and supported her career, however, unfortunately one of her earliest coachers, William Kipp, died in a plane crash in 1961 along with the United States figure skating team who were set to compete at that year’s World Figure Skating Championships.

Fleming then trained under the supervision of Carlo Fassi, who is a former skated himself. With Fassi’s help, she was able to win three World titles from 1966 to 1968 and an Olympic gold medal in 1968 as well, in Genoble, France. Her victory was extra special as she was the only athlete from the US Olympic team to be victorious. This also gave hope for the return of the Americans in figure skating after the terrible crash of 1961. Her career as an athlete and Olympian tremendously helped her career and net worth.

After her victory at the Olympics, Fleming decided to turn professional, and began performing in various television shows, and even toured with skating shows. She starred in “Peggy Fleming Visits the Soviet Union” in 1973, “Christmas on Ice” in 1990, and “Ice Stories” in 1995. She also appeared in “Fantasy Island”, “The Magic of Copperfield VII: Familares”, and “Nutcracker in Ice”. Her career in movies and television also helped raise her wealth.

In 1981, Fleming became a skating commentator for ABC Sports, and served for 20 years often working alongside Dick Button, also a former Olympian.

Today, Fleming is retired but still makes guest appearances in certain projects. She appeared in the 2007 movie “Blades of Glory”, and produced the 2010 documentary “Art of the Olympians”. She is also known as the third most popular athlete in the United States.

In terms of her personal life, Fleming is married to Greg Jenkins, a dermatologist and also a former figure skater whom he met when they were teenagers. The two married in 1970 and together they have two sons.

In 1998, Fleming was diagnosed with breast cancer but she was able to detect it and have it removed immediately. Since then she became an advocate for people who have breast cancer, and encouraged them to get themselves tested.

Fleming and her husband formerly owned and operated a vineyard near California’s Santa Cruz Mountains and named it “Fleming Jenkins Vineyards & Winery” which they sold in 2012 with most of their remaining wines, some profits being donated to breast cancer research.

Kevin Jonas’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Kevin Jonas Net Worth: Kevin Jonas is an American musician and actor who has a net worth of $40 million. He is best known for being a member of the rock band the Jonas Brothers, along with his real-life brothers Joe and Nick Jonas. Early Life: Paul Kevin Jonas II, better known as Kevin Jonas, was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, on November 5, 1987. He was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, along with his siblings. He has three younger brothers, Joe, Nick, and Frankie. His mother, Denise Marie (née Miller), formerly worked as a sign language teacher and singer, and his father, Paul Kevin Jonas, Sr., is a former ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church, and also a songwriter and musician. The Jonas Brothers: In 2005, Columbia Records president Steven Greenberg listened to Nick Jonas’s record. He did not like the album, but liked Nick’s voice, and after hearing all three of the older Jonas brothers (Kevin, Joe, and Nick) perform together, decided to sign them together as a group act. The Jonas Brothers released their debut studio album, “It’s About Time”, in August 2006, but it did not perform well. Ultimately, they were dropped by Columbia in early 2007. The brothers quickly signed on with Hollywood Records in February 2007, and released their second album, “Jonas Brothers”, in August 2007. This release fared significantly better, and even peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. Riding the wave of the success of their second album, the Jonas Brothers started appearing on television. Their first on-screen appearance was in an episode of the Disney Channel show “Hannah Montana” titled “Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas”, on August 17, 2007. They followed this up with a successful appearance in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock” (2008), with Joe Jonas in the lead role opposite Demi Lovato. They reprised their roles in the sequel, “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” (2010). In May 2008, the Jonas Brothers debuted their own reality short series on the Disney Channel, “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream”. It ran under September that year, and followed the brothers as they embarked on their “Look Me in the Eyes” tour. A second season of the show followed them on the European leg of their 2009 World Tour. Then, they released their third studio album “A Little Big Longer” in August 2008, and it peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Kevin began starring alongside his brothers Joe, Nick, and Frankie, on their own Disney Channel Original Series, “Jonas”. The show ran from May 2009 to October 2010 for two seasons (under the name “Jonas L.A.” for the second season). Not only do the brothers (and their younger brother Frankie) star as exaggerated, fictionalized versions of themselves on the show, their body guard on the show is played by Robert “Big Rob” Feggans, who was working as their real-life head of security at the time! The Jonas Brothers released their fourth studio album, “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times”, in June 2009. The Jonas Brothers left their label Hollywood Records in May 2012, and subsequently revealed that they had bought all the rights to their own music. Then, from August 2012 to May 2013, Kevin and his wife Danielle starred in an E! reality series, “Married to Jonas”, documenting their domestic life. His brothers were also featured on the show. The band announced that they were breaking up in October 2013 due to “creative differences”, and each of the brothers embarked on their own various pursuits. They reunited in February 2019, almost six years after disbanding, with the new single “Sucker”. They released the documentary, “Chasing Happiness” (2019), which covers materials like the brothers’ childhoods, how they started as a band, what let to them disbanding, and why they got back together again. Their fifth studio album, “Happiness Begins”, was released on June 2019. Other Ventures and Projects: Outside of music, Kevin is the founder of a real estate development company called JonasWerner. He is also the CEO of a communication/social media firm called The Blu Market company, and created a food app called Yood in 2015. He worked on many of these ventures during the time that the Jonas Brother band was broken up. Additionally, he was on the seventh season of the reality competition series “Celebrity Apprentice” (2014), although he was eliminated in the second episode, and made an appearance on a 2014 episode of the reality show “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” as a contractor working on Kathy Wakile’s house. Kevin and his wife Danielle previously partnered with the brand Dreft to launch an app, Amazing Baby Days, that helped couples capture all of the little moments throughout pregnancy and into the first year of their child’s life. As part of this partnership, Danielle live tweeted the birth of their first daughter. Personal Life: While on vacation with his family in the Bahamas in May 2007, Kevin met Danielle Deleasa, who was also on vacation with her family. At the time, she was working as a hairdresser. They got married on December 19, 2009, at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York. Together, they have two daughters: Alena Rose Jonas, born on February 2, 2014; and Valentina Angelina Jonas, born on October 27, 2016. In September 2018 Kevin listed his New Jersey mansion for $2.5 million. The home found a buyer very quickly for $2.25 million.

Paula Abdul’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Paula Abdul net worth: Paula Abdul is a California-born dancer, singer, actor, choreographer, and producer, who has a net worth of $30 million dollars. Her career, which has spanned four decades, has ranged from choreographer to pop star to reality television star. Early Life: Paula Abdul was born on June 19, 1962 in San Fernando, California. She began taking dance lessons at an early age, and attended Van Nuys High School where she was a cheerleader and an honor student. Abdul started attending California State University, Northridge, in 1980. During her freshman year, she was chosen out of 700 candidates to be a famed “Laker Girl” cheerleader for the LA Lakers basketball team. A year later, she was named head choreographer. Within six months, her choreography and dancing careers took off and she left the university. Career: Her first major job was choreographing the music video “Torture” for The Jacksons, after a few of the band members had discovered her while attending an LA Lakers game. She subsequently choreographed their “Victory” tour, as well. Abdul was also chosen to choreograph the giant keyboard scene involving Tom Hanks’ character in the 1988 film “Big”. In 1987, she used her savings to record a singing demo, and was subsequently signed to Virgin Records. Abdul was an untrained singer even though she was a talented dancer and choreographer, so she underwent voice coaching to help her develop her voice. Her first studio album came out in 1988, “Forever Your Girl”, and went on to become the most successful debut album in history at that time. It spent 10 weeks at the top of the Billboard chart and was certified platinum in 1989. Paula won her first Grammy for Best Music Video for “Opposites Attract”, which she also choreographed. Abdul’s career went into hiatus for personal and physical reasons, and her 1995 comeback “Head over Heels” saw moderate commercial success, but later became her lowest-selling release. In 1997, she co-wrote the song “Spinning Around”, which was intended to be her big comeback single, but the song was later given to Kylie Minogue. She also released a couple of workout videos during this time, and served as choreographer for film and theater projects, including the cheerleading scenes in 1999’s “American Beauty”. By 2000, she was no longer affiliated with Virgin Records. TV Career: In 2002, Abdul got a gig as one of three judges on the Fox reality competition show “American Idol.” She was praised for her sympathetic and compassionate style as a judge and mentor, especially when compared to co-judge Simon Cowell’s brash manner. Their different styles resulted in dramatic and heated on-air exchanges. Paula was simultaneously working as a reporter for “Entertainment Tonight” while working on “American Idol”. “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow”, a single released in 2008, was Abdul’s return to the chart for the first time in 13 years. Paula departed “American Idol” in July 2009 after eight seasons, over salary negotiation conflicts. She was earning $5 million per season, but was seeking as much as $20 million for her return. She was replaced by Ellen Degeneres. It was announced in May 2011 that Abdul would rejoin Simon Cowell on the first season of the American edition of The X Factor. However, she did not return for a second season and was replaced by Demi Lovato. She was a guest judge on the dance competition reality show “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2013, and was subsequently named as a judge on the Australian version of the show. Abdul later became a permanent judge for the American version of the show, but only judged on the show for two years. Return to performing: Abdul performed a full headlining set for the first time in 26 years on August 6, 2016 at the Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She started touring with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men on their 2017 comeback tour, which marked her first tour in 25 years. They did a total of 47 shows together. In October 2018, Abdul embarked on a solo tour, “Straight Up Paula!”, for a total of 27 shows. Paula began her first Las Vegas Residency (“Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl”) on August 13, 2019 and it ended in January 2020. Personal Life: In 1994, Abdul was treated for bulimia, which she revealed she had suffered from since she was a teenager. In April 2006, Paula claimed she had been a victim of battery at a party by a man who argued with her, grabbed her, and threw her against a wall. She sustained a concussion and spinal injuries. 30-year-old Paula Goodspeed was found dead in her car of an overdose outside of Abdul’s home in Sherman Oaks, California, on November 11, 2008. Goodspeed had been an obsessive fan of Abdul’s, bordering on the line of stalking. From 1992 to 1994, Paula was married to Emilio Estevez. She was married to Brad Beckerman from 1996-1998. She does not have children. She practices the Jewish faith and is an avid dog lover. Controversies: In 2004, she was fined and given 24 months probation for a misdemeanor hit and run. She was driving her Mercedes-Benz in Los Angeles when she changed lanes on the freeway and hit another vehicle, but kept driving. Substance abuse allegations came to light during “American Idol”, with fans taking notice of her sometimes erratic behavior and off-the-wall comments. Abdul rejected these claims, citing pain medicine usage for various injuries and chronic pain she experiences as a result of reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) for her strange on-screen behavior.
