Around 2 a.m. Friday, Kuaron Harvey, 14, and Paris Harvey, 12, were live on Instagram when a firearm the younger girl was toying with went off and murdered her cousin, driving her to shoot herself, according to CBS News.

After the fatalities at roughly 2 a.m. on Friday morning, the occurrence was first classified as a murder-suicide. Paris’ mother, Shinise Harvey, on the other hand, described the incident as a “freak accident.”
They were filming a video in which Paris was toying with the pistol, which subsequently went off and struck him.
