A man exchanged gunfire with a state trooper on Saturday in East Baton Rouge. Now the authorities suspect him of two consecutive double shootings that wounded three people and killed one after an hour.
Now, officials have said that he has been arrested.

Pamela Adair is a resident of Prairieville who was killed by Matthew Mire. He was on the run after being involved in gunfire with a trooper.
Now, he is suspected of breaking into a home in Livingston Parish and shooting the residents. The authorities are trying their best to locate him, but his whereabouts are still unknown.
Adair died after an hour of gunshots. There were two other victims- a male and a female, who are expected to recover in the hospital.
According to WWL-TV, Mire is said to have known the victims. But, there is no statement regarding this matter from the police.

The killer shot two other people in the area and escaped, stealing a blue 2013 Chevy Silverado. Police were first searching for him after Master Trooper Adam Gaubert was found dead in his car.
He is said to have been ambushed while in his patrol unit. The officials have not found any connection between the different murders yet, but some sources say that the deaths may be connected as the trooper’s body was found a mile from where the first shooting happened.
The killer is claimed to have a criminal history as well after he assaulted his own grandfather. There are no other criminal records related to him except for domestic violence against his grandfather.
He pleaded guilty as well as being given anger management classes after he got sentenced to probation.
