Paige Thorne’s dad says he won’t be watching the show as she lied to participate in the program. She pretended to be on a business trip when in fact she was preparing for Love Island.
Love Island is back for another season this summer, with an all-new cast. The show began on ITV2 from Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. on June 6, 2022.
Paige Thorne, a paramedic, has signed up for the show in the hopes of finding The One with whom she may go on several dates.
Who Is Paige Thorne’s Dad?
Paige Thorne’s dad was furious when he discovered she had lied to him and the rest of the family by claiming she was on a business trip when the truth was much different.
According to Dailystar, her parents had to be persuaded after realizing she had signed up to go on Love Island. Her mother was completely supportive of her decision, while her father had a very unfavorable reaction.
Mr. Thorne was evidently concerned that his only daughter might be shown on the show doing things he would not approve of.
According to the 24-year-old paramedic, her father has never seen the program, so in his opinion, it’s something it’s not.
Talking about her family, based on her graduation images, which she has posted on Instagram, we may assume that she has at least three brothers.
Two of her brothers look to be in their early to mid-twenties, while her third brother appears to be much younger.
Paige Thorne was born on September 15, 1998, in Swansea, Wales. Thorne began her job as a paramedic six months before the worldwide pandemic and has only ever known the epidemic.
However, now that she is in the show and is receiving a lot of great feedback from viewers, we expect her father to acquire a positive attitude toward the show.
Furthermore, we suppose he would not halt himself to watch the show in which her daughter appears.
In the recent episode, the public chose Dami and Amber, Indiyah and Ikenna, Tasha and Andew, Gemma and Liam, and Luca and Paige to date.
Love Island returns tomorrow at 9 p.m. on ITV2.

She said she joined Love Island to ‘get out and widen her horizons’ after several failed dates in her hometown. “There’s just no one I can locate in Swansea, I’ve looked and there’s just nobody there anymore,” she added.
She has 3.5k Instagram followers and has shared photos from a lavish vacation to Ecuador as well as glam evenings out. Paige, who has traveled extensively, has also documented her academic and professional accomplishments on Instagram, including a graduation post in 2019.
‘I need to get out there and widen my horizons, and Love Island brings everyone together for me.’ I don’t have to go out, and I don’t have to swipe. So, perhaps, they’ll come to me now,” she added.
‘I just got out of a relationship and was so over males that I was like, ‘Right, that’s it.’ I’m going to concentrate on myself.’ Then I thought, ‘OK, I’m bored now, lonely, and I miss love, connection, and everything else.’
‘I’ve been on a couple of dates, but nothing has connected with me.’
‘Just wonderful energy, loads of bubbly energy,’ the cheerful brunette says of what she expects to bring to the villa. I’m a terrific chef and a mother figure, so I’ll take after anyone who needs it.’
‘If I were to choose a trademark meal, it would most likely be a Sunday supper.’ My roasties are up there. I think Gordon Ramsay would be impressed, giving them a ‘9/10 or 10/10.’
Paige Thorne Is A Paramedic Practitioner
Paige Thorne is the first paramedic working in the NHS to be on the Love Island. However, she is sorry about quitting her job to appear on the show, as she only gave her boss three weeks’ notice.
“I didn’t warn my supervisors in advance, and I probably didn’t give them nearly enough time,” she explained. “If you go on the program, you won’t find out until it’s almost too late. I didn’t want to take any chances by mentioning anything beforehand.”
“I gave them three weeks’ notice, which left everything a little jumbled since I didn’t give enough time, but okay.”
Paige, on the other hand, has sworn to return once her time on Love Island is up, adding, “I will 100% go back to being a paramedic.”
“I enjoy my job since it provides me with all I might expect in a career, she added, according to The Tab.
