Orlando Bloom was born—Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom—in Canterbury, Kent, on 13 January 1977, to parents, Colin Stone, and Sonia Constance Josephine. Growing up, Bloom and his sister were raised in the Church of England where he attended St Peter’s Methodist Primary School. He then attended the junior school of the King’s School before moving to St Edmund’s School in Canterbury.
