Multiple reports claimed that Oleksandr Shelipov was 62 years of age at his death. He was an unarmed citizen from Chupakhivka, a hamlet in northeast Ukraine.

Last week, when questioned by the victim’s widow, Kateryna Shelipova, about his motives, the former Russian tank commander admitted his guilt.

His wife persisted in questioning the Russian tank commander about the conflict and its involvement.

Furthermore, the victim’s wife told the court that Shishimarin deserved a life sentence for murdering her husband. She wouldn’t mind if he was swapped with Russian defenders of the Azovstal steelworks in Mariupol.
