Noah had been serving with the Elwood police department, 50 miles northeast of Indianapolis. He was only 24 years old and had served in the military for five years when he died, and his well-wishers paid tribute and expressed their heartfelt condolences for his untimely death.

Noah was immediately admitted to Ascension St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood, but doctors requested to take him to an Indianapolis-area hospital for better treatment. Unfortunately, he lost the battle with life and passed away at the hospital.
The gruesome incident happened early in the morning, and the suspect was detained roughly 30 minutes later. Noah was a hard-working officer who had been working with the department for 11 months.

Furthermore, he was kept in custody while he tried to run away from the police, and interrogation was conducted to find the motive for this crime. He exited the Buick and fired multiple rounds, striking the officer at least once, according to the report published by WRTV.
He was apprehended in Hamilton County after a pursuit ended in a crash, and he has previous criminal records also. He was involved in the firing of a gun at an Indianapolis officer in 2006, but the details of that case were not made public.
