Mouaz Moustafa shared several videos on Twitter regarding the incident on an American Airlines flight.
Getting to the story, the plane that was originally bound to DC had to make an emergency landing at Kansas after a passenger created a scene. He was then subdued by a flight attendant who threw a coffee mug at him.
As seen in Moustafa’s Twitter video, the troublemaker was covered in blood from injuries due to the coffee mug. Even after that, he tried to open the emergency door while the plane was making an emergency landing.
According to reports, the pilot had to land at around 5000 FPM instead of normal 500-700 FPM. A few passengers had no clue about the incident and thought that the plane was crashing.
The plane descended around 31,000 feet in just about eight minutes.
Erratic Behavior Forces Emergency Landing: Was The Passenger Arrested?
The passenger who caused the incident on the American Airlines flight was arrested.
As per Moustafa, he is a middle-aged man whose name is yet to be revealed. Reports say that he was taken into the custody of the FBI. Further details about his identity and charges will follow soon.
Most importantly, no passengers were hurt during the incident. The passengers were rebooked to another flight.
