Everything To Know About The Handsome Monk Pongsakorn Chankaew
Pongsakorn Chankaew is a monk who was forced to leave monkhood as he and many monastery members, including high-ranking monks such as abbots, have been accused of sexual and other wrongdoing in recent months by the media. A recent monk scandal involves Phra Kato, a 23-year-old monk from Wat Pen Yat in Nakhon Si Thammarat’s Chawang district, who had a sexual relationship with a 37-year-old woman.
People who support Pongsakorn frequently talk about his origins and how nice he is. Pongsakorn started performing shadow puppet shows when he was 13 years old. Mic Thongkam had an ambition of being a singer and had once competed in a TV singing competition. Viewers sympathized with him as he revealed on the television that his mother had lung cancer and required daily medicine costing 700 baht. Because of his mother’s illness, Pongsakorn had to drop out of university to care for her. Because of a vow he made to his late mother, he became a monk.
His supporters were moved by the fact that he was a decent son who dedicated himself to his late mother, and they believed he had a good heart and was innocent. They accused the 37-year-old woman of seductress Pongsakorn, which is absurd. They are both equally responsible. Pongsakorn was obviously a decent son, but he was not a good monk. A good monk would never spend time alone with a woman or request message from a woman. He was well aware of the Buddhist teachings and hence must accept responsibility for his conduct.
Pongsakorn Chankaew Hush Money and Affair With Actress Baitong Primvalin
The central police have taken over the investigation into alleged embezzlement by former monk Pongsakorn Chankaew, who engaged in sexual misbehavior with a lady when ordained in Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
The ex-monk, according to a police commander, could be a victim himself.
On Tuesday, Pol Maj Gen Charoonkiat Pankaew, the chief of the Anti-Corruption Division, indicated that the embezzlement case would be handled jointly by the Anti-Corruption Division and the Crime Suppression Division.
The evidence on Pongsakorn Chankaew, 23, formerly known as Phra Kato, who was implicated in a sex scandal, was being investigated by central police units. At the time, he was the acting abbot of Wat Pen Yat in the Chawang area of Nakhon Si Thammarat, and he was having a sexual connection with a 37-year-old woman.
In addition to sexual misconduct, Pongsakorn admitted to withdrawing 600,000 baht from Wat Pen Yat’s bank account to conceal his sex scandal. Because the former monk knew the money wasn’t his, his supporters can’t say he’s innocent.
Although Pongsakorn is not the first example, it is unusual to see people revere immoral prominent leaders.
People were enamored by Preeyanuch Nonwangchai’s attractiveness when she was charged with killing and dismembering another woman in 2017. She was photographed by the cops. People showed their admiration and organized fan clubs on social media. While some recognized that the “clubs” were a jest, they were nevertheless offensive. Admiring a thief or a cold-blooded murderer just for their physical beauty feels creepy.
